Family Support Services is a non-entitlement program that brokers disability-specific services based on the unique needs of individuals and their families. Families of children with developmental or intellectual disabilities are eligible to apply. The cost of hearing aids can be covered if there is no insurance or an insurance denial. Families must complete the application process through a local DBHDD provider. See list of providers by county for local agency contacts.
